Arnaud Feuga, CEO of a 110-employee carrier, shares how Dashdoc TMS transformed his operations: smoother workflows, no more re-keying, and automated billing.

Founded almost 25 years ago and based in Toulouse, Express Transports now has 110 employees, 90% of them drivers. Under Arnaud Feuga’s leadership, the company offers a wide range of services: long-haul trucking, palletized LTL consolidation, freight brokerage, single-parcel delivery, and logistics out of a warehouse in Espinas.

The Challenge: A Clunky TMS, Paper Everywhere, and Endless Data Entry

Arnaud Feuga took over the company in October 2022. It already had a TMS in place, but he soon saw that it wasn’t working.

We were sold a paperless system, but it wasn’t paperless. It was just photos of bills of lading. — Arnaud Feuga

As a result, paper piled up. Every bill of lading had to be scanned, matched to its customer by hand, and later dug out of dozens of folders. A single Express Transports load can carry freight for eight different shippers, so every load meant more documents to handle and more room for errors.

Manual data entry kept the team busy with low-value tasks. The software felt outdated, was hard to use, and was difficult to adapt.

That was a dealbreaker for me from day one.

Dashdoc TMS: Smooth, Connected, and Built to Grow

Arnaud met with several TMS vendors before choosing Dashdoc. He chose it first for the sales team’s people-first approach, then for how simple and scalable the platform was.

Dashdoc was rolled out in 2024 with two days of on-site training and was quickly adopted across the company, from dispatch and billing to brokerage. Data entry changed right away:

Today, we don’t do data entry anymore. We import files, we import emails, and it’s entered. We check that the AI got it right. That’s it. — Arnaud Feuga

Each order has its digital bill of lading, freight photos, proof of delivery, driver history, and claims documents. Everything is linked and in one place, and the team can also reach it from a phone.

If there’s a problem with a night driver in the evening, I don’t need to open my laptop. I grab my phone, open Dashdoc, and check what I need. It’s incredibly smooth. — Arnaud Feuga

An EDI integration with a major corporate customer means orders now flow straight into Dashdoc, and status updates go back automatically to the customer’s ERP.

Teams Refocused on Their Core Work, and a More Efficient Company

The impact is concrete and measurable, and the whole organization felt it quickly.

  • Up to speed in under 24 hours. Every new dispatcher at Express Transports learns the basics of Dashdoc in a single day.

My teams tell me, ‘It’s super simple.’ Within 24 hours, they already understand how it works. — Arnaud Feuga

  • More rigorous management. Even the company’s external auditor noticed the improvement: everything is tracked, linked, and verifiable. Supplier invoices are scanned, recognized automatically, filed, and tracked directly in Dashdoc.

It gave me structure. It’s what ties all my teams together: dispatch, billing, accounting. Everything is in the same tool. — Arnaud Feuga

  • Time back for what matters. Data entry no longer swamps the teams. They plan, optimize, and look for ways to improve margins.

We put our people’s value where it belongs: in their thinking. Our job is to do business with our customers, not to spend time looking for paperwork. — Arnaud Feuga

A Partner, Not Just a Vendor
